It was great to hear from Richard Jones about how he approaches governance, risk and compliance at SHORE.
His presentation got the room at the MITIE Term 2 Conference talking about the pros and cons of adopting custom frameworks for high schools.
The discussion reinforced an important point: a framework only helps when a school can put it into practice. The right approach must connect risk, controls and accountability without overwhelming the people responsible for making it work.
