Syncly achieves SOC 2 to expand legal data syncing platform

Syncly worked with Apollo Secure to help achieve SOC 2 Type 1 to establish credibility with law firms to securely sync legal documents and data in real-time.

SOC 2 certification requires a lot of work and it was great to be able to automate some of these tasks with Apollo. We were an early customer of theirs and they worked hard to make sure we got what we needed for our certification. It’s been great to see the platform continue to evolve with more functionality over time.

Challanges

Syncly needed to establish trust with law firms and had to move quickly to achieve SOC 2 certification to prove their security maturity. To meet their certification requirements, they needed to conduct security awareness training and run vulnerability scans of their web application.

Solution

Apollo Secure’s automated cyber security platform allowed Syncly to quickly and easily implement security controls including rolling out staff awareness training and running vulnerability scans from within the platform.

Results

Syncly has rolled out staff training and vulnerability scans to meet their SOC 2 requirements and successfully achieved SOC 2 certification in April 2023.
